The AT&T Network AT&T has worked tirelessly to provide true global connectivity, implementing a strategy to make customers' data accessible from anywhere on the planet. To ensure this, AT&T uses a three pronged approach.

Connections to the maximum number of ISP's: Through both private peering arrangements and connections at all major Internet Exchange Points, AT&T has direct connectivity to the major ISPs. AT&T has arrangements with partner ISPs so that they have backup and contingency plans in place to ensure the service replicates that of AT&T services.

Peering Arrangements (private peering and at the public NAPs): AT&T has retained excellent working relationships with all Internet Exchange Points (IEPs), as well as Metropolitan Area Exchanges (MAEs). These Internet nodes are located throughout the United States. As one of the original participants of NSFnet (National Science Foundation), AT&Ts history with such organizations adds industry and professional credibility to AT&Ts commitment to reliable content delivery.

International Delivery: AT&T routers carry the entire Global Routing Table. This allows AT&T to deliver significant traffic to areas outside of North America.
